Effect of Process Parameters on Spinning Force and Forming Quality of Deep Cylinder Parts in Multi-Pass Spinning Process

In this paper, based on MSC Simufact.Forming v16.0 simulation software, the process parameters in multi-pass spinning production of deep cylinders with a large diameter–thickness ratio are optimized, and ten-pass cylinder diameter 500 mm, thickness 2 mm depth 700 is realized. By controlling four mandrel speed, feed rate, wheel fillet radius angle attack, influence force wall deviation formed workpiece studied. The results show that radial tangential at their minimum when attack rpm, 1 mm/rev, 6 35°, respectively. At these setup conditions, efficiency highest not prone to defects. will decrease increase speed; round corner increases first then decreases.
